This is what I can see from the 2nd floor terrace of my house at Kalayana nagar near Moodalapalya. Not a bad scenary for a place just 10 kms from the heart of city.

2nd floor
Recently I read on article which made me sad. It was about the growing concerns about Pigeons. Till very recently, feeding Pigeons was considered to be an act of kindness and now the same act is being banned in places like London, Mumbai and Bangalore. Once the symbol of peace and the ancient carrier of messages are being viewed as carriers of harmful dieses. Their wastes’ too are being termed as harmful to the buildings and platforms they sit on as they contain some toxic chemicals.
However, I could not chase this beauty away which was relaxing on an electric poll just next to my 2nd floor balcony. (The date on the picture is not right. I just cannot change the setting on my camera :-) )
